THINE EYES BLEED Begins Recording Sophomore Album
March 14, 2007Canadian thrashers THINE EYES BLEED — who feature in their ranks former KITTIE guitarist/technician Jeff Phillips and bassist Johnny Araya (brother of SLAYER's Tom Araya — have entered the studio to commence work on their sophomore album.
Commented frontman Justin Wolfe: "We entered Beach Road Studio (located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada) on March 11th, 2007 to begin tracking with Seigfried Meier. We will be here over the next few weeks and are excited to dive into this recording. We are now a few days into the drums and they sound amazing. The tracking room is nice and spacious with high ceilings and pine walls creating great acoustics. Darryl has been shredding his drum tracks so far, letting us know this is gonna be some brutal shit! As for the rest of us, Guitar Hero has been the main focus so far, enhancing our hand-eye coordination."
THINE EYES BLEED last fall compelted a month-long tour of Europe as part of the "Unholy Alliance Chapter II: Preaching To The Perverted" (also featuring SLAYER, IN FLAMES, LAMB OF GOD and CHILDREN OF BODOM).
THINE EYES BLEED last year re-released their 2005 debut for The End Records, entitled "In the Wake of Separation". The CD now includes the bonus track "Better off Dead" (previously available only in Japan) and the video for "Cold Victim".
